My friend Dana came up with a brilliant idea...take one picture each day and every Sunday add those pictures (with a caption) to your book-in-progress. So it has been really fun to come up with the "picture of the day"...getting the kids washing dishes, Dad at work, Nicole at the swim meet, Uncle David coming over...each day there is something worthy of taking a picture (even if it's just the empty laundry basket....yeah!) And at the end of the year...I won't even have to think about trying to organize my photos. I'll just click on the "Share" button of my favorite scrapbooking program on the planet, click on "photobook" and wala...I get a book (actually I'll be ordering 5 so the kids can get one) in about a week and a half mailed to my door!
Oh, and I still haven't taken a look at my Family Book 2008 plan...I still think I can get it done in about an hour as soon as that's on my official "to do list for the week".
By the way, on a different note...do you have a favorite book you'd like to clue me in on?
